Menlo Group Advisors Earn CCIM Designation

Menlo Group Vice Presidents Tom Ellixson and Jason Triano recently received the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation.

Tempe, AZ, October 18, 2021–Menlo Group Vice Presidents Tom Ellixson, CCIM, and Jason Triano, CCIM, recently received the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute. The CCIM designation is awarded to commercial real estate professionals who demonstrate a mastery of financial and market analysis and negotiation skills.

“The CCIM Institute provides an in-depth education looking at property decisions from different perspectives, and I look forward to applying these concepts when advising my clients to make sound real estate decisions,” Ellixson said. “I’m excited to join a prestigious group locally and open further networking opportunities nationally.”

To earn the designation, Ellixson and Triano completed nearly 200 hours of coursework, compiled a detailed portfolio of their transaction work, and passed a six-hour comprehensive exam. The commercial real estate advisors were recognized for their accomplishments in a recent ceremony held in Pittsburgh.

Ellixson began his commercial real estate career when he joined Menlo Group in 2017. He specializes in the leasing, sales and acquisition of industrial and flex spaces across the Phoenix Metropolitan area. He previously served as one of the top producers for W.B. Mason, an office supply company.

Triano primarily represents buyers and tenants looking for dental, medical, veterinary and professional office space. He joined the Menlo Group team in 2018 after a successful career at Bank of America, where he provided lending solutions to medical professionals across the Southwest.

“The CCIM Institute is such an honor to be a part of, not only for the value I now bring to my clients but also the confidence it instills in my peers,” Triano said. “This designation demonstrates that I have the knowledge and experience it takes to get a deal done.”

With the addition of Ellixson and Triano, eight of Menlo Group’s 10 trusted commercial real estate advisors now hold the CCIM designation; three advisors have also gone on to join the elite Society of Industrial Realtors (SIOR). No other Phoenix-area brokerage has such high percentages of advisors with these industry designations.
