Stuart Milne of Menlo Group Commercial Real Estate joins his brothers and colleagues in earning the SIOR designation.

Tempe, AZ, January 10, 2022–Menlo Group Senior Vice President Stuart Milne, CCIM, SIOR, recently earned the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (SIOR) designation. He joins his brothers, Tanner Milne and Grafton Milne, in becoming a member of the organization.

“Since joining the commercial real estate industry, I have been working toward this goal. The knowledge and experience required for the SIOR designation benefits not only me but also my clients and colleagues at Menlo Group,” Stuart said. “I feel honored to be a part of this elite society of commercial real estate professionals and to have my brothers by my side.”

The SIOR network includes more than 3,400 members worldwide with around 70 members in Arizona. To qualify, designees must complete coursework in ethics, demonstrate strong transactional history and receive letters of recommendation from current SIOR members in their local chapter.

Since founding Menlo Group in 2008, the Milne brothers have prioritized continuing education and industry credentials. The trio completed the requirements for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2013. In 2017, Tanner earned the SIOR designation, and Grafton followed suit the next year.

“I’m proud of the fact that all three of us have earned these designations,” Tanner said. “It’s been a lot of fun to watch both my younger brothers develop into elite professionals in the industry.”

In his role, Stuart primarily represents landlords, sellers and investors in the disposition of professional and medical office space in the Phoenix area. He has successfully negotiated hundreds of lease and sale transactions during his 13 years in the industry. Some notable transactions include selling McDowell Professional Plaza, selling the Virginia Circle Office Building, and leasing and selling Surprise Professional Plaza.

“I am grateful to work with my brothers,” Stuart said. “They are warriors for starting this business, and they truly are some of the best commercial real estate professionals I know.”

At Menlo Group, the Milne brothers have created a culture of self-improvement. Menlo Group advisors Rich Andrus, Steve Berghoff, Tom Ellixson, Mark Haslip and Jason Triano have all earned the CCIM designation. In addition to the Milne brothers, Berghoff and Andrus are some of the few Arizona professionals to hold both the CCIM and SIOR designation. No other Phoenix-area brokerage has such high percentages of team members with these credentials.

“We are proud of Stuart and excited to have him join us as an SIOR member,” Grafton said. “At Menlo Group, we strive for excellence, and these designations are one way we set ourselves apart in the industry.”
